Discover this beautiful countryside of the Bas-Armagnac by paying a visit to the characteristic fortified towns such as St. Justin and Labastide d’Armagnac. Have a look at the chapel of Notre- Dame-des-Cyclistes in which you can find a small Tour-de France museum. Or visit the experimental farm at the Ognoas domain (distillery and tasting of Armagnac and Floc); The Hunting house; the lake of l’Uby; the health resort of Barbothan-les-thermes; the car race track of Nogaro etc.
During summertime, a lot of rural festivals and cow-fights are being organised throughout the region. And finally, don’t forget Lourdes, or the magnificent and beautiful Pyrenees, the attractiveness of the Atlantic coast, Arcachon’s bay and the extensive vineyards of the Bordeaux region.
